My degree project presents an investigation of how a jewellery artist understands the life/death cycle of nature and natural processes, the relationship between the human (body), nature and materials, and jewellery, by communicating in the form of jewellery.
My main method is jewellery. There are six pieces of jewellery. Their names are: Sigh, Conversation, Fly, Puppet, Crawl and Resurrection.
Each work has its own language and story, expressing different states of being with nature: the acceptance of death, the recognition of the natural cycle of life and death, the joy of vitality, balance and confrontation, the blurred boundary between life and death, etc. I discuss the constant movement from two aspects: material movement and the natural cycle of life and death. By making jewellery, getting along with my works, talking to them, and wearing them, I explore the role and participation of people in the process.
Mitt examensarbete är en undersökning av hur en smyckeskonstnär ser på naturens livscykler och naturliga processer, förhållandet mellan människan (kropp), naturen och materialen, och smycken, genom att kommunicera i form av smycken.
Min huvudsakliga metod är smycken. Det är sex smycken. Deras namn är: Suck, Konversation, Flyga, Marionett, Krypa och Uppståndelse.
Varje verk har sitt eget språk, sin egen historia som uttrycker olika tillstånd i naturen: accepterandet av döden, erkännandet av den naturliga cykeln av liv och död, livskraftens glädje, balans och konfrontation, den utsuddade gränsen mellan liv och död osv. Jag diskuterar den ständiga rörelsen utifrån två aspekter: materiell rörelse och den naturliga cykeln av liv och död. Genom att skapa smycken, komma överens med mina verk, prata med dem och bära dem, utforskar jag människors roll och delaktighet i processen.
