Lines are everywhere and as humans we produce lines all the time.
Lines that we can see and lines that only exist in our imagination.
Lines that help us move around and lines that keep us from taking action.
My degree project has the line, both literal and figurative ones, as its main object of study.
The line is here seen as a method, a metaphor and a material to be explored.
The line is here used as a speculation and an opportunity.
The line is here translated into actions, objects and proposals.
How do we deal with lines in our everyday lives? How do they manifest in space and influence our behaviour? This degree project studies the translations of the different lines and seeks ways for bending and crossing them.
Linjer finns överallt och som människor skapar vi ständigt nya linjer.
Linjer som vi kan se, och linjer som bara existerar i vår fantasi.
Linjer som hjälper oss att röra oss runt, och linjer som hindrar oss från att skrida till handling.
Mitt examensprojekt har linjen, både bokstavligt och bildligt, som huvudämne för studien.

Hur hanterar vi linjer i vår vardag? Hur manifesteras de i rummet och påverkar vårt beteende? Det här examensprojektet studerar tolkningen av de olika linjerna och försöker hitta sätt att böja på dem och korsa dem.
