The materials in the installation are taken from a house. A small apartment-building in red wood that from 2014-2020 stood on the edge of a meadow, at a place without an address, near Ulriksdal station in Solna. The house was empty and during those years, I returned continuously to one of the apartments. The reason why I went to this particular house can be read about in my book Vännernas arena (2020).
The plywood boards had been installed by the city of Solna as protection for the house’s windows. This also meant that the rooms were left in the dark and in the spring of 2016 I chose to take them down.
The works Glass I, II and III consist of fused shards of glass from the house’s windows.
The video /Eftervärld/ is a documentation of the move that took place in December 2020 when the house was moved from its place on the meadow to a new, more permanent location. The camera films the same apartment I returned to over the years.
Materialen i installationen är tagna från ett hus. Ett flerfamiljshus i rött trä som 2014-2020 stod i utkanten av en äng, på en plats utan adress, nära Ulriksdals station i Solna. Huset stod tomt och under de åren återvände jag kontinuerligt till en av lägenheterna. Anledningen till att jag åkte till just detta hus går att läsa mer om i min bok Vännernas arena (2020).
Skivorna av plywood sattes en gång upp av Solna stad som skydd för husets fönster. Detta medförde också att rummen förlades i mörker och våren 2016 valde jag att plocka ned dom.
Verken Glas I, II och III består av nedsmälta skärvor från husets fönster.
Videoverket Eftervärld är en dokumentation av den flytt som skedde i december 2020. Huset flyttades då från sin plats på ängen till en ny, mer permanent placering. Kameran filmar in i den lägenhet jag under åren återvänt till.
