How can we see public space as a resource in the climate crisis, that has the potential to be used as a platform for reflection, collective action and hope?
In my degree project I give a design proposal on transforming a construction site into a temporary memorial to wounded nature. A public space that encourages to meet the climate crisis with earnesty, playfulness and activism. By reorganizing existing construction elements I have created new ways of looking at and interacting with the site.
Hur kan vi se det offentliga rummet som en resurs i klimatkrisen, med möjlighet att användas som en plattform för reflektion, kollektiv handling och hopp?
Som designförslag i mitt examensarbete föreslår jag en omgestaltning av en byggarbetsplats till en temporär minnesplats för skadad natur. Ett offentligt rum som uppmuntrar till att möta klimatkrisen med allvar, lekfullhet och aktivism. Genom att organisera om befintliga byggelement skapas nya sätt att titta på och interagera med platsen.
