I work mainly with moving image and sculpture. At the centre of my practice lies a desire to make images or form visible through my own body weight, light, heat and various chemical processes. In this way, objects are shaped by an abuse and transformed into abstractions as a result of actions in affect. I consciously focus on the process itself, its ritual and symbolic dimensions, and how it generates something that without my actions would have remained hidden within the material.
Jag arbetar främst med rörlig bild och skulptur. I centrum för min praktik står viljan att synliggöra bilder eller former genom min egen kroppstyngd, genom ljus, värme och olika kemiska processer. Bilder eller former som utan mitt arbete förblivit dolda i sitt material. Jag fokuserar medvetet på själva processens utformning, mina objekt är formade ur ett misshandlande som blir abstrakta former, jag tänker på mina objekt som ett resultat av handlingar i affekt.
